FLO RIDA MAKES NEW YORK JUMP!

So after a very early commute, I met Mike outside the security entrance at Rockefeller Center and then we went inside and walked out to the Plaza where we got to stand RIGHT in front of the stage. It was really cool being in the crowd with all of the fans who came out to support Flo. He performed his current single 'Jump' from the G-Force Soundtrack, his massive hit 'Right Round', and the song that made him famous, 'Low'. One thing for sure, Flo puts on a great show and got all the fans hyped up! Check out the pictures and video below.

SPOKEN LIKE A TRUE FAN

6:29AM. I just got all dressed and ready and am about to head to the Long Island Railroad to go to work. Work at 6:29AM?! Yes, you read that correct. Today isn't just my last day at Atlantic, but rapper Flo Rida is performing three songs on the 'Today Show' and Mike and I will be there to see all the action first hand.

I must say, there is not much of a better ending to an awesome experience than going to see one of my favorite artists perform a mini-concert. I better get going, I need my coffee before I do ANYTHING. I'll make sure to post pictures the minute I get to the office!

DVDS, DVDS, DVDS!!!

One of the other jobs we as interns have is to help keep our busy bosses organized. Although my time here at Atlantic ends tomorrow, I'm going to spend a good amount of time today and tomorrow going through DVD's of music videos and television appearances of both active and inactive artists.

There are artists that I love who used to be on Atlantic that I never knew were signed here. For example, former Atlantic artist, Cham had a huge song with Alicia Keys "Ghetto Story", which was one of my favorite songs when it came out and even now, when it comes on I get excited!

It's a tedious job, but it's gotta get done...

Time to get back to work!

JUST GETTING STARTED

On my way to the office today, I always grab the AM New York. It's a local paper in NYC that always has relevant news to a New Yorker's lifestyle as well as offering really cool fashion advice, suggestions for weekend activities, and great nightlife scenes that they think you should check out. While reading the entertainment section (because after all, that IS the best part of the newspaper), I came across a little feature about the announcement of the MTV Video Music Awards nominations and low and behold, Atlantic/Photo Finish's very own 3OH!3 was listed in the papers feature for being nominated for 'Best New Artist' at this years awards.



Right as I got in, I scanned it because something this cool and exciting needs to be documented and saved. Now onto finishing my coffee and getting started on my day...



Make sure you get 3OH!3's album, 'Want', IN STORES EVERYWHERE! It is definitely an album that will get your party started no matter what you do!!
